Use of Service

What You Can Do

✅ Use auto BPM & key detection
✅ Access the service offline
✅ Invite bandmates to collaborate

What You Cannot Do

❌ Use the Service for illegal activities
❌ Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service
❌ Scrape or copy our database
❌ Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
❌ Share your account credentials
❌ Impersonate another person

Accounts

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • You’re responsible for all activity under your account

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for inactivity (12+ months with notice).

Content

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create (setlists, songs, notes)
  • You grant us a license to store, sync, and display your content to provide the Service
  • You’re responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you upload

Our Content

  • FlowGroove branding, logos, and code are our intellectual property
  • You may not copy, distribute, or resell our content without permission

Intellectual Property

FlowGroove (code, design, branding) is protected by copyright and owned by Sounding Doubts - Unipessoal Lda.

You may:

  • Use the Service for personal or commercial band use
  • Share the Service with others
  • Fork the code (if open source) per license terms

You may not:

  • Resell or redistribute without permission
  • Create derivative works for commercial purposes
  • Remove copyright notices or attribution

Disclaimers

“As Is” Basis

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don’t guarantee:

  • All bugs will be fixed
  • All feature requests will be implemented
  • The Service will meet your specific needs

Fees & Payments

Free Tier

Core features are free forever for indie musicians.

Donations (Ko-fi)

  • Donations are voluntary and non-refundable
  • Donations don’t grant additional rights or features
  • Donations support ongoing development

Future Paid Features

We may introduce premium features in the future. Existing free features will remain free.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll notify you of material changes via:

  • Email to registered users
  • Banner on the website
  • Updated “Last Updated” date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal.

As an EU-based company, your rights under EU consumer law are not affected.
